METHOD 2

• Right Click on My Computer

• Click on Manage

Now computer management Window will be opened.

• Click on Disk Management

• Now you should select the drive letter which you need to hide from the My Computer list.

• Click on remove.

 

• You are done.

• To get it back again go to same path and click on
  add instead of remove.

• So you can easily hide any hard drive drive in your
   Windows computer without using any software

LOCK FOLDER WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE

1. Let you have a folder named abcd in D:\abcd.
2. In the same drive create a notepad file and in it write
    abcd abcd.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
3. Now save that text file as lock.bat.
4. Create another notepad file and type
    ren abcd.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} abcd
5. Save this as key.bat
6. Now there are two batch files. Double click lock.bat and your 
    folder  will change into Control Panel and its contents
    can't be viewed.
7. To open the folder double click key.bat and you get back your
    original folder.
8. For more safety keep the key.bat in another location .
    Only for unlocking copy paste to the original  location 
    and double click..
9. You may save notepad with any name.bat. Also you may delete the 
    notepad file and then make the key
    when you need it just remember the format...


JUST TRY IT OUT BY YOURSELF.......
Search for the registry of recycle bin you will get similar to that
{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} of control panel. Replace that registry with the registry of control panel. then your folder will change to control panel.

Steps to hide your drive:

METHOD 1

Step 1.

Go to Start–>Run or use Windows+R keys and type:

diskpart

and press Enter. When prompted, press Continue.

Step 2:

Now you are in Diskpart. Type:

list volume and press Enter. This lists all the partitions of hard disk.

Step 3:

Here we will show you how to hide the disk partition F. So the next command will be:

select volume 2 and press Enter.

Step 4:

Now the last command will be:

remove letter F and then press Enter.

After this restart your computer and the respective drive will be hidden!

Now to show your drive again, follow the steps 1 and 2 and then:

For XP you should type:

assign letter f

For Vista/Windows 7 you should type:

assign letter=f

And you have successfully unlocked the Hidden Drive.

ADD YOUR FOLDER IN WINDOWS SEND TO MENU.....

• How often do you copy any stuff from a CD/DVD?
  What do you usually do? You select the files and copy all those then Open the another folder and paste there.

• But from today onwards you needn't do this useless work. All you need is to Customize your SEND TO MENU.
  This is damn simple. Yes, you can create your BASKET to keep all of your stuff in it.

• First step is to make your hidden files visible. So, in order to do that Change the view setting to make the hidden files visible.

• first go to Tools then  folder options then view (tab) and check the box show hidden files and folders.
• Now go to parent drive: / document and setting /(your user name)/ send to

• Open my computer ( window + E ) and locate the most used folder.
• Now Create a shortcut of the most used folder in SEND TO FOLDER.

• You can do all this in many ways.
  Right click -> send to desktop i.e create shortcut there and move that shortcut from your desktop to SEND TO FOLDER
  Copy the most used folder and then go to SEND TO FOLDER and then right click -> paste the shortcut.

• Also remember to rename the shortcuts to send to video or send to pictures or any thing you make out of it so that no confusion will be there...

Delete or Remove Recycle bin Icon from Desktop

If you like your desktop to be always clean then this small trick is for you...

Remove the Recycle bin icon from desktop

Follow the steps below--

first method---

1. first go to Start ->then Run then enter -> Regedit.
2. Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Current Version \ Explorer \ BitBucket
3. Modify / Create the Value Name and Value Data Type as explained below.
4. Data Type = DWORD // Value Name = NukeOnDelete
5. Setting for Value Data: [ 1 = Delete Permanently  / 0 = Use The Recycle Bin]
6. Exit Registry and Reboot..
7. You are done..

  Another Method

1. start-> then run-> then type gpedit.msc-> user configuration -> desktop-> look for "remove recycle bin from desktop" -> double click on it -> change it not configured to enable-> apply and ok.
2. now come to start-> then run-> then type gpupdate.exe and press enter.
3. your recycle bin icon is gone from desktop and if you want to get it back just reverse your settings.
4. After reversing your settings just run gpupdate.exe command to update it.

Disable CD/DVD or USB drive Autorun

Today i will show you how you can  disable Autorun of any removable drives such as cd, dvd, Pen drives
 
 
Please make sure that you don't allow any drive's autoplay on its own, specially for Usb drives. The reason is, along with Autorun files, USB drives containing viruses also get executed resulting in your computer may get affected by the malicious viruses or malwares .

So, here is the trick to do that..

Disable CD / usb Autorun / Autoplay

1) Click Start -> Run -> enter GPEDIT.MSC
     or shortcut for that ( window + R) ......be advanced than others......
2) Go to Computer Configuration, then-> Administrative Template,---> System.
3) Locate for Turn auto-play off (shortcut to locate ---- press (ctrl + f) and type which you want to locate). 
    Double click on it.
4) Click  Enable.
5) Now Select All Drives in order to disable all drives including Cd Rom drive or only Usb drives .
6) Now click on apply.
7) You are done..
