Remove the Recycle bin icon from desktop
Follow the steps below--
first method---
- first go to Start ->then Run then enter -> Regedit.
- Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Current Version \ Explorer \ BitBucket
- Modify / Create the Value Name and Value Data Type as explained below.
- Data Type = DWORD // Value Name = NukeOnDelete
- Setting for Value Data: [ 1 = Delete Permanently / 0 = Use The Recycle Bin]
- Exit Registry and Reboot..
- You are done..
Another Method
- start-> then run-> then type gpedit.msc-> user configuration -> desktop-> look for "remove recycle bin from desktop" -> double click on it -> change it not configured to enable-> apply and ok.
- now come to start-> then run-> then type gpupdate.exe and press enter.
- your recycle bin icon is gone from desktop and if you want to get it back just reverse your settings.
- After reversing your settings just run gpupdate.exe command to update it.
